I tried too hard to lose weight and made multiple attempts that ended up as a failure. I succeeded in weight loss only when I took care of those issue so thought to share with all those having hard time losing weight:
Not Having Good Breakfast: The first meal after several hours of empty stomach is very much needed as you need to resume day to day activities and so need energy. What I learnt that breakfast must not be below 400 calories.
Being Irregular To Exercise: With regular exercise your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) improves which in result triggers the body to burn more calories than normal while in rest. Exercise helps you burn more calories when you are not exercising even, so being irregular means slowing down the fat burning process.
Not Drinking Enough Water: You need lot of water not just to stay hydrated, but also to fill your stomach before every meal so you can cut significant amount of calories.
Not Counting Calories: Well, that’s the most common mistake almost every weight loss aspirant makes. So the truth is You need to burn 3500 calories to lose 1 pound of fat. If your daily calorie requirement is 2000, and you limit your intake to 1500; cutting 500 calories daily will let you cut 3500 calories 7 days.
Considering it to be Overnight: In connection with mistake of not counting calories, we keep our expectations so high that we want to lose 10 pounds in a week which is nearly impossible in reality. You must not take less than 1000 calories a day, which means you can lose up to 2 pounds per week. Depending upon your current weight and the BMR, this may vary and at times you may lose 5 pounds of water weight over two days (but that comes back as it goes).
Remember, it’s a process which takes time. You cannot lose pounds of fat in two days that you gained over two years!
I worked on these issue, fixed them and lost 25 pounds and I hope this can work for all others there!
